Prior to joining Hightower, Mr. Emma served affluent families for 10 years as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch. He crafts custom wealth management strategies for our clients. Mr. Emma has attained his
Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation and Certified Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation. The CFP® designation is the most recognized financial planning mark in the world.

Mr. Emma earned a B.S. in Finance and Marketing at Boston College and was the 1991 Hobey Baker Winner (the equivalent to the Heisman Trophy), which is awarded to top collegiate hockey players in the United States. His hockey jersey #16 is retired at Boston College and he was inducted into the Boston College Athletic Hall of Fame. He was also a proud member of the United States Hockey Team in the 1992 Olympics and enjoyed a 10 year career as a professional hockey player. Mr. Emma is the President and Founder of the David Emma Hockey School. He also has vast experience as a Real Estate Developer and is the former owner of several Dunkin Donuts in Southwest Florida.

Mr. Emma holds his Series 7, 9/10, 31, 66 licenses.
